This event will unfold following the prizegiving after the Saturday competitions. There will be many details to come, but we are proud to announce that the headlining performer will be the world-reknowned and musically amazing Bad Haggis!
Bad Haggis fuses cutting-edge Celtic with influences of rock, alternative, jazz, pop, groove, world beat, African and Latin influences to produce a hearing-is-believing sonic experience. From the dual leads of the "bagtar" (bagpipe & guitar) by Eric Rigler and guitarist Mike Hoffmann, to the deeply grooving rhythms laid down by bassist/vocalist Mick Linden, Brazilian drummer/vocalist Rogerio Jardim and Colombian percussionist Alberto Lopez, BAD HAGGIS employs a new musical vocabulary to create an exciting fusion of sound.
The "After Party" ticket includes the Bad Haggis concert as well as hors d’oeuvres. A no-host bar will also be available at the party. There will be monitored age-appropriate activities for the younger attendees. This "After Party" ticket is separate from the Competition Entry ticket and can purchased online or at the door for this event.
